Dear Friend, We would like to invite you to become a member of the Shakamak Area Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber of Commerce is a group of people from our community that talks about what we feel could and needs to be done to make our community a better place to live, then finds a way to make it happen. In the past we, as a group, have; bought Christmas lights for the town, organized the 4th of July Fireworks, Lighted Christmas Parade, hosted the Kelly Circus, organized the Christmas Festival and recognized outstanding Juniors and Seniors at Shakamak High School with a dinner. This year will be even bigger and better. This is the 150th birthday of Jasonville. The Chamber meets on the second Tuesday of every month at different locations throughout town. The dinner starts at 6:00pm and the cost is $6.00 per person. The meeting begins at approximately 6:45pm and lasts about an hour. At each meeting, there will either be a guest speaker or special event planning. Annual membership dues are $25.00 per year for a business, while the cost is $10.00 for individuals.
